Father's Day

For Father's Day this year I started early. I found a couple of ideas on Pinterest I liked and was able to have homemade gifts for Charles this year. He seemed to enjoy the gifts. I found a website where they had father son matching ties. I ordered them a couple of weeks in advance. I know how Charles feels about getting a tie for Father's Day so this wasn't really a gift it was just a Father's Day outfit. When Charles went into his closet Sunday to get dressed he found his new tie on his tie rack that had a note saying, "Charles' Father's Day tie" He didn't look too thrilled when he walked out of the closet with his tie on. He did perk up a lot more when he saw that Sam had the exact same tie. I happened to have a shirt the same color of their ties so I wore that to church. My dad stopped by on his way to church to pick up his Father's Day gift from me and his grand kids. After church I made Charles' favorite meal Salisbury steak, with his desert of choice Black Forest cake.Afterwards we went to Charles' Dad's house to spend the afternoon.
